What are your previous guilds and what is the reason for leaving your last one?

My previous guild on Draenor was Shinasu, I've left it because I was sick of some people and especially because they thought that it's impossible to do a boss encounter without their "best" healer, yes their "best healer". Oh and because I felt useless as retribution, since I wanted to tank.

Reason for applying: what can you offer us and what do you think we can offer you:

Hmm, what can I offer you? Well, a person who knows his stuff, and basically that's it. There is nothing more I could say about what i could give you until you test me.

Passion as guild, hmm what could it possibly offer me? Easy, the joy of downing a boss after hours and hours of wiping and trying to improve tactics, trying lots of different stuff, but mostly it's the feeling you get when you down a boss after trying over and over, and then killing him. (Yes I know you're almost done with ICC normal, but hey,there is still the joy of downing them on heroic mode.)

Do you have any experience in raid instances pre Wotlk?:

Yes I do, I have done everything up to Sunwell.

What is your experience with Wotlk instances (10/heroic10/25/Heroic25)?:

Well, basically Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, Ulduar 10man, Trial of the Crusader 10 Normal and Heroic and Trial of the Crusader 25 Normal, Icecrown Citadel 10man 6/12 and 8/12 on 25man. (Vault of Archavon and Onyxia don't count, right? )

Is there anyone already in the guild that can vouch for you?

Doubt it.

Can you attend enough raids? 4/5 is considered compulsary

Only when my brother is home, and that is only Fridays and Saturdays, so, no.

Uhm, No. I rather learn something by doing, instead of using some kind of theories from other people who I highly doubt have even tested that what they wrote.

How good is your english? Not being able to understand people talking/typing is a massive break down in communication when raiding.

Yeah, accept me or I'll go emo :>. Kidding. Well, I've been considering to apply at Passion earlier, but I couldn't since I had a crappy ISP, since I've changed my ISP I can do everything without problems and I wanna try my luck with Passion. Oh and, I do have a Passion for raiding .

Elaborate? With all due respect, your gear isn't that great compared to the rest of the guild, so here is where you can show us that it won't hold you back in any way...




I'm not sure what to make of this. Nice honestly i guess, but also seems like pure ignorance to me. Ofc there are theories all over the internet that have been tested and they have the evidence to prove it. You shouldn't be so narrow minded about this, maybe having a read around will tell you something you didn't all ready know or give you some ideas for new rotations/gear set ups or whatever.

You might learn a way which does the job, but someone else might know a way which does the job faster/easier/better/etc etc.

No one should ever have that kind of attitude if they wanna be the best which imo everyone in Passion should be aiming for.

Well, WWS, uploaded a part of my combat log to it, and well... I haven't been logging anything since the 6th February. I guess, I could make one today.

And about the theorycraft websites, I do read them, but when comparing their methods and mine, I simply cannot accept their methods because I've learned it my way and it works till today. Of course they are helpful, but I'm the kind of person who rather learns his stuff by trying over and over till he finds the correct way to do it.

So i guess you do all the data mining, math calculations and what else yourself... Really weird attitude as Lina is saying.

i wonder whats bad about wanting 2 learn your self instead of blindly accepting what others say....

I'm not saying you should change what you're doing if what you do works. I'm just saying it's a bad attitude to not open yourself to other peoples suggestions and theories. Just never be afraid to try new things and if your way really does work better than what everyone else does, maybe you should write up your own theory so that others can improve themselves by doing it your way ;p
